  3. That is a challenging question! Think about what can be some possible values of x based on what you know about the values of length and width. Can length and width be negative numbers? Use the equation 9-4x to help you come up with some values of x, then subsitute them in both expressions. The last step would be to find the area using the formula A=lW.
