Are you having difficulty with what we are learning in class?
Watch the Review Chapter 5 and 6 PH videos
Linear Equations Project
1. Make up your own linear equation. Remember to solve for y in terms of x.
2. Create a function table
3. Graph your equation be sure to use a ruler
4. Describe your graph including the y-intercept and the slope of the line. y=mx+b (m= slope and b= the y-intercept)
5. Include your Name, Class and Date
6. Make sure your project is neat and mathematically accurate.
7. Include a self evaluation on a separate piece of paper.

Pythagorean Theorem Project
Pythagorean Theorem Project
Learning Objective: Student will be able to prove that the Pythagorean Theorem can be used to find the measure of a missing side of right triangle.
TASK:
• Measure and cut out two triangles. You can use 3, 4, 5 or 5, 12, 13 as the legs and hypotenuse and measurements of your choice. You may also prove the theorem using the lengths of three squares or any other mathematical sound procedure.
• Evaluate a2+ b2= c2 for both triangles
• Form your own conclusion/ proof about whether the Pythagorean Theorem works
